Barcelona striker Luis Suarez has beaten off competition from Real Madrid Superstar Cristiano Ronaldo to win the Pichichi prize.
The Prestigious Pichichi award given to La Liga's highest goalscorer during a football calendar year was won by Luis Suarez after his 40 goals edged out Cristiano Ronaldo's 35 goals while Messi lagged behind in third place with 26 goals.
Luis Suarez is now the first player other than Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi to finish as La Liga's top scorer since 2009.
