The police investigative committee investigating the December Rivers state legislative rerun election, today in Port Harcourt displayed N111 million the state governor, Nyesom Wike, allegedly gave INEC officials who participated in the election as bribe.
The money was recovered from the indicted INEC officials who were interrogated by the police.

According to investigations carried out by the committee, 23 of the INEC officials interrogated got N360 million to rig the election. Three senior INEC officials reportedly got N20 million each as bribe while others received N15 million each.
