Trending: Buhari’s aide, moderator pull out of conference over Bobrisky

The conference on new media, organised by Enough Is Enough Nigeria has suffered a setback after two panelists have pulled out of the Thursday’s session of the conference on New Media, Citizens and Governance as a result of the inclusion of Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky.
Personal Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, was the first to pull out of the event. He was followed by a member of the Executive Committee of Alder Consulting, Subomi Plumptre, who was to moderate the panel.

The decision to pull out of the panel session, which had the theme, ‘Rights and Responsibilities| Engagement Unusual: Unconventional uses of new media…’ split opinion with the raging debate trending on Twitter.
