Wanted Nigerian journalist, Ahmad Salkida arrested at Abuja airport

According to Sahara Reporters, Ahmad Salkida, a Nigerian Journalist with access to Boko Haram,was yesterday arrested at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.Ahmed
Salkida was arrested as he arrived at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport aboard Emirates flight EK 785. He was reportedly taken into custody from the door of the aircraft by members of the security forces.
It will be recalled that Salkida, for his access to Boko Haram commanders, was declared wanted in August 2016 by the Nigerian Army in connection with the abducted Chibok girls and the terrorist group.

Salkida had released an exclusive video sent to him, which he said confirmed that the Chibok girls were alive but some died in recent airstrikes. 
Salkida had said that he was not on the run and would make himself available to the security forces as soon as he was able to get flight tickect to Nigeria.

The army had later explained that the three persons declared wanted were being invited to explain what they knew.
