It was super Sunday over the weekend as we saw 11 goals in the two matches played. Liverpool is the first team to score 4 goals against Arsenal in a match after Chelsea in 2009.
In a remarkable encounter which was a goal fest of some sort, Liverpool got their campaign off to a victorious if not a convincing start.
7 goals were shared between both sides as a brace from Philippe Coutinho, one goal from Adam Lallana and debuted Sadio Mane gave Liverpool all three points. Theo Walcott, Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain and Callum Chambers scored for Arsenal to register their names in the 7 goal thriller.
In the early kick off the day, Bournemouth lost 1-3 to Manchester Uniter after the trios of Mata, Rooney and Zlatan Ibrahimovic who scored on his debut in the English Premier League set the Red Devils on top of the EPL table for the time being.
