According to report by Daily Trust, twenty soldiers comprising four officers and sixteen men of the Nigerian Army in Maiduguri have been arraigned before a court marshal over charges of gun-running and murder.
While inaugurating the court marshal at the military media center, the commander in charge of 7 Division of the Nigerian Army, Brigadier Victor Ezudwu, warned the president of the court and its members against unnecessary adjournments, while seeing to it that justice is done.
The report says most of those involved are being charged for selling arms while some others are suspected of committing murder and human rights abuses.
