Co-author of the best-selling novel 'Left Behind', Tim LaHaye is dead

Co-author of the best-selling “Left Behind” novels and leader of the Christian Fundamentalist Movement, Tim LaHaye has died.

Rev. Tim LaHaye died on Monday in San Diego, California, days after suffering a stroke.

His passing was announced via his Tim LaHaye Ministries website.

LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins wrote 16 volumes in the "Left Behind" series, which sold more than 80 million copies worldwide. He is survived by his wife Beverly and four children.
