Chairman of Channels TV, John Momoh was yesterday elected the new Chairman of the Broadcasting Organisations of Nigeria, (BON).
The election took place at the organization's annual delegate conference in Abuja.
Momoh beat his opponent Abbas Dalhatu from Freedom Radio, Kano by polling 51 votes against who scored 12 votes. This is would be the first time a private television owner would be occupying this position.
