Mario Gotze has officially made a move back to Dortmund from Bayern Munich.
Dortmund announced on that Gotze - who moved to Bayern in 2013 after they activated his £32m release clause - has agreed a contract until 2020 and will complete the transfer subject to passing a medical.
The 24-year-old midfielder still had a year left on his contract with the Bundesliga champions, but struggled to live up to expectations at the Allianz Arena before being told he was not part of new coach Carlo Ancelotti's plans at the start of the summer.
Bayern and Munich and Dortmund have both confirmed the deal via their various twitter accounts.
