Ousted National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Senator Ali Modu Sheriff this morning stormed the National Headquarters of the party at Wadata Plaza, Abuja to take over the secretariat. He was however prevented from gaining entrance by security operatives acting on directives from the IG of Police.
While addressing the press, he said as far as the court judgement in his hand indicated that he remains the National Chairman, any other person claiming what ever position is illegal, and that the constitution of the PDP does not recognise any Caretaker Committee in that case.
