OAU shuts down indefinitely over protesting workers

Obafemi Awolowo Uinversity, Ile-Ife has shut down indefinitely over the continuous protests of non-payment of allowances by its workers.OAU
According to the Registrar, Dotun Awoyemo, the management has decided to shut down the university for the safety of students and staff as the protests won’t stop.
Students of the school who are expected to resume next week after a two-month break will be forced to continue to stay at home.
