Gunmen suspected to be militants have invaded the Igbolomu and Ishawo areas of Ikorodu Local Government Area of Lagos State.
According to residents of the communities, the gunmen came in through a water channel yesterday and immediately started shooting sporadically.
The heavy shootings from last night has left several people dead.
Also, the troubled communities of Elegbete, Imushin, Muti and environs of Ita-Oluwo, Ogijo, last night witnessed heavy shootings by the militants.
