Man who killed his wife in Oshodi, also dies

Mr Jafaru Sougie who allegedly murdered his wife, Rose, at Oshodi area of Lagos, has died of the poison he consumed on the day his wife died.

The 48-year-old man died yesterday at the Police Hospital, Ikeja, where he had been on admission since May 26.

After he allegedly slit his wife’s throat, he was alleged to have drunk some poisonous substance in an attempt to commit suicide, which has now killed him.
