Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, has sacked the chairpersons of the state’s 23 local government caretaker councils.
Odey Ageh, the State Commissioner of Information, announced this to the caretaker chairmen yesterday after the weekly state executive council meeting. Local government elections in the state are expected to hold in September.
