Human remains from EgyptAir Flight MS804 indicates explosion on board

Human remains examined at a Cairo morgue indicated an explosion plunged EgyptAir Flight 804 into the Mediterranean Sea, according to Egyptian forensic officials.
Investigators sifting through 80 pieces found floating in the crash site are small, suggesting a blast tore through the doomed flight transporting 66 passengers from Paris to Cairo early Thursday.

“There isn’t even a whole body part, like an arm of a head,” said an forensics official who spoke on condition of anonymity.

"The logical explanation is that it was an explosion," he added, while also mentioning that the experts had so far been given around 80 small body parts to investigate.

However, a forensics official told Reuters that no traces of explosives have been found yet.
