A California judge on Monday denied pop star Ciara's request of awarding full custody of the child between her and her ex-fiance, rapper Future, reports TMZ.
The 30-year-old singer, who has now moved on to Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, 27, has been caught up in a messy custody fight with her ex and is also suing him for slander.

However, the 32-year-old rapper, Future argued for joint custody to which the judge agreed. California law is mostly known to favour joint custody.
