Olisa Metuh falls during meeting, rushed to hospital

National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples, Olisa Metuh was yesterday rushed to the National Hospital, Abuja after falling off a swivel chair.

The incident took place shortly after he came into the National Working Committee meeting hall at the party secretariat to witness the inauguration of the caretaker committees of the party in Borno and Kebbi states.

After falling, Metuh remained on the floor for about three minutes, report says two policemen carried him out of the party secretariat into a waiting car to the hospital.

The spokesperson of the PDP was said to have complained about a waist pain before the accident.

Metuh has been placed under observation at the National Hospital.
