The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP spokesman, Chief Olisa Metuh's trial at the Federal High Court in Abuja was on Wednesday adjourned for two weeks by the presiding judge, Justice Okon Abang, on health grounds.
Metuh is being prosecuted for corruption and money laundering charges.
During the resumed sitting, Metuh's lawyer, Onyechi Ikpeazu informed the court that his client was indisposed and would want a two-week adjournment.
Prosecution lawyer, Sylvanus Tahir, did not object to Ikpeazu’s request for adjournment, admitting that he is aware of Metuh’s ill-health.
