Fulani herdsmen attacks Agatu again

Fulani herdsmen have reportedly attacked Agatu community in Benue state, for the second time in the past two months.Fulani Herdsman
The attack, which resulted into a gun battle between a joint team of the Nigerian Army and Mobile Police Force officers against the deadly herdsmen, left a police officer, Corporal Ebiakpo Akparakazi, a youth in the community, Inalegwu Chele  missing and another reportedly kidnapped.

The Herdsmen has allegedly opened fire on the Military team and the Police who were going to investigate an alleged shooting of two youths of the Agatu community following a report.
It is learnt the two youths survived and are currently receiving treatment.
Confirming the attack, the Benue state police spokesman, ASP Moses Yamu revealed that a search party has organized to find and rescue the missing officer.
