Fire razes Navy mammy market in Ojo

Goods worth millions of naira, in the wee hours of Tuesday, were destroyed by fire which razed a portion of the Mammy Market of the Nigerian Navy Town, Ojo, Lagos state.

This is the third fire incident Lagos is recording this week: Niger Biscuit exploded on Sunday, Kuramo was on flames on Monday and Mammy market on Tuesday.

According to reports that the fire started at 3am.
Although the cause of the inferno is yet to be known, men of the state Fire Service and other fire trucks from the Naval Ordnance Depot, who were deployed to the scene, were said to have contained the fire.
