Another Building Collapses In Lagos Leaving Two People Injured

Another building collapsed in Lagos over the weekend. This happened on saturday at No 9, Alli Close, Mile 12, Lagos. Fortunately, no lives were lost but a man and woman sustained injuries. Building Collapse
According to the member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Kosofe Constituency 2, Mr Tunde Buraimoh, the building had shown signs of distress as some portion of the balcony was caving in.
“The collapse did not affect the main structure, it was just the frontage of the building… We have mobilized funds and materials to invite the Material Testing Laboratory to come and look at the rest of the structure.
“They will give a critical appraisal of the integrity of the structure. If the structure needs to go, it has to go but if it just needs some fixing and repairs, it will be done,” Tunde Buraimoh said.
