A former member of Rivers State House of Assembly, Monday Eleanya who recently decamped from PDP to APC, was murdered by unknown gunmen in Port Harcourt yesterday Feb. 11th.
Eyewitnesses said the deceased who represented Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni constituency in Rivers State House of Assembly between 1999 to 2003 under the platform of the PDP, was driving out of his Ada George road, Port Harcourt residence when the gunmen struck, shooting him at close range.
