Nnamdi Kanu refused bail, to remain in Kuje prison

A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has denied the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra,IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, bail.Kanu
Ruling on the bail application, Justice John Tsoho ordered that the Director of Radio Biafra and two other accused persons be remanded in Kuje prison pending their trial.

Earlier, a mild drama, however, ensued among the defence team as Nnamdi Kanu addressed a personal handwritten letter to Justice Tsoho, saying he has two lawyers- Chuks Mouma and Ifeanyi Ejiofor.
Kanu in the letter to the court alleged that one of the counsels on the defence team, M. U. Udechukwu who argued for his bail in the last hearing was not his counsel of choice.
Udechekwu, in his response to the letter disclose his intention to withdraw from the team of the defence counsels.
