Female suicide bombers attack Borno town, kill six

No fewer than six people, including a member of Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) and five suicide bombers were killed in a bomb attack on a security outpost manned by local vigilante group in Borno’s town of Mafa.It was gathered that some female bombers approached a security post manned by the CJTF in Mafa, about 40 kilometres to Maiduguri, Borno State yesterday, killing themselves and one of the youth vigilante.

Northeast Information Officer of the National Emer­gency Management Agency (NEMA), Abdulkair Ibrahim, who confirmed the bomb attack said five members of the CJTF were also injured.
