Zeez’ Record Label Drags Him To Court, Warns Music Promoters From Relating With Him

Kingsley Elikpo, popularly known as Dj Zeez, now Zeez who is signed onto HF Records has been dragged to court by his record label following his inability to meet his obligations as outlined in his contract. The record label are also ready to sue any entertainment company willing to engage Zeez while the case is still in court, warning it will further help the artiste to breach the contract he has with them.

Investigations however revealed that Zeez has been truly served the court processes, including the motion for injunction to restrain him from performing at shows and engaging in music-related business with other persons or organisations in violation of his contract with HF Music.

Zeez, in an affidavit submitted to the court, however denied that he was performing shows for other organizations (paid or free) without the label's consent.

Just few weeks ago, Zeez was stopped from performing in America, when his record label heard about a show he was billed to perform. They quickly forwarded a court document to them telling them they risk being sued if they engage Zeez. Sensing trouble, the entertainment company quickly yanked his name off their list.

Heard that one of the major problems the record label has with Zeez is that he prefers to go around looking like a model instead of putting more effort in his music career.
