I’m sure you have not forgotten late Nigerian rapper, Oladapo
Olaitan Olaonipekun popular known as Dagrin `lyrical werey’
will have a memorial concert organized to commemorate his
tragic exit.
His cousin Tee Blaq who is also an artiste and Eldar Records
have announced a concert to celebrate the memory of the
iconic rapper Dagrin, who rapped mostly in Yoruba, died on
April 22, 2010, eight days after crashing his car in front of
Alakara Police Station, Mushin, Lagos. five years ago.
The concert will take place exactly five years after his death
at Spice Route, Victoria Island. Da Grin is widely regarded as
the man who opened the doors of indigenous rappers in the
country. featuring; Olamide, Reminisce, Seriki, Lord of Ajasa,
YQ, Sossick, WondaBoy, BaseOne, JahBless, PoslyTD, Chinko
Ekun and CDQ.
His sophomore album C.E.O released in 2009 is regarded as a
classic.
