10 Similarities Between Nigerian Ladies And Policemen

Tosyne2much posted this on nairaland
You may call this female bashing thread, but that does not stop it's the bitter truth in its unclothedness. My encounter with both of them has made me understand
they are both synonymous in nature. Without wasting time. Now let's analyze what these people share in common
1. Late Coming Attitude
If there's a robbery operation somewhere and you inform the police to come take charge, they will come immediately the robbers must have gone and will start
firing guns, tear gas and will start arresting pedestrians. To the ladies, you invite them on a date and they will show up when the waiters are almost driving you out of the eatery\hotel
2. They Are Indecisive
Yes they are both indecisive. Take for example, policemen arrested you for something you were not guilty of, and they swore with their lives that not even President Buhari will make them let go off you. They same people will later
reach an agreement with you on a condition that you should endeavour to dance to their tune. To the Ladies, they may be dating a guy and they must have sworn with their lives that only death can separate them. The same ladies will dump your ass for a guy the barely know probably because of his financial standings
3. They Become Unnecessarily Friendly To The Rich
We don't need T. B Joshua to tell us that, these people love money to the extent that, If you are that broke guy aspiring to be the best amongst your equals. Even if you are a PhD holder and you are poor, these people can make you attempt suicide because they are quick to ridicule and mouth trash you even if you are on your right; but the moment they notice you are rich, they will start laughing hysterically at every word that comes out of your mouth, even if you are as boring as Bob Manuel Udoku
4. They Are Both At Receiving End
Just we know that our policemen men are always at the receiving end, so are our ladies. Take for example, a policeman visits you; he expects you to at least squeeze some naira notes into his pocket, and when you visit him; he still expects you to do the same. So are many ladies too. When they visit you they expect you to pay for their fare, else, they tag you "Stingy guy", and when you visit them, they will expect you to at least drop some amount of money as per se you be guy
5. They Easily Suspect A person And Jump To Conclusion
I guess you might have at a point in time been harassed by policemen who had no evidence against you, yet inflicted pains on you. Take for example, you drove your pop's car and policemen stopped you at the junction. After presenting the documents of the car to them and conspicuously, they found out that the car actually belongs to your dad not you. They will still keep insisting that you actually stole the car. To the ladies, they will read your chat history and quickly presume you are dating a lady who enjoys chatting with you, even without seeing flirtacious messages
6. They Are Easily Deceived
Yes ladies and policemen always claim they are too smartto be deceived, but I can tell you that If you know your way, you can deceive them and throw them into a state of discombubation
7. They Are Not Appreciative In Nature
By default, both of them are not appreciative. Why I said both of them are not appreciative in nature is that, if you give a policeman a sum of money today, and you refuse to give them money tomorrow, he will never remember that you actually gave him some money yesterday. To the ladies, they believe that every favour done to them is your duty as a man. You may give a lady some millions of naira today, if she picks up quarrel with you tomorrow, she may start saying " what have you even done that a man has not done before?"
8. They Flirt
The syndrome of flirting runs in the veins of both of them. A policeman will at the end of working hours chill at a local pepper soup joint flirting with ladies who are old enough to be his daughter. To the ladies, they may have boyfriends but will still be flirting under the cloak of "I can not put all my eggs in one basket"
9. They Operate Effectively At Night
Yes they operate effectively at night. You will see police road block @ night stopping trailers and vehicle to get money from them, so as some ladies who display their body @ night waiting for sugar daddies to parade them. Aren't they synonymous ?
10. Feel free to add yours

Buhari's ADC orders DSS operatives out of Presidential Villa

It's been learnt that authorities of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, have formally removed officials of the Department of State Services from positions where they can perform 'close protection roles' for President Muhammadu Buhari.
The decision to restrict the officials’ access to the President was the peak of the inter-agency rivalry that has been rocking security agencies in the seat of power since Buhari was inaugurated on May 29.
The memo issued by the Aide-De-Camp to the President, Lt. Col. Lawal Abubakar, which was dated June 24, 2015 was titled, “Redeployment of Department of State Services personnel from close protection roles for Mr. President and some duty locations within the Presidential Villa, Abuja.”
The ADC directed personnel of the Armed Forces and the Nigeria Police who he said were trained as presidential bodyguards to take over the DSS officials’ duties of providing “close and immediate protection” for the President with immediate effect.
Abubakar explained that the decision to strip the DSS officials of their roles was part of an effort to enhance security within the villa which was necessitated by 'recent events' but he didn't say what the events were.
He listed the beats and locations from where DSS officials were withdrawn and replaced with PBGs to include the administrative reception and passage; service chiefs’ gate; residence reception; resident gate and office reception.
“However, the personnel of the DSS in conjunction with other security forces are to man other duty beats and locations within the immediate outer perimeter of the Presidential Villa,” the ADC wrote.
Meanwhile, officials of the DSS who were chased away from their beats on Wednesday were also not allowed access to their duty posts when they resumed work on Thursday morning.
Their beats had already been taken over by plain-clothed military personnel.
Many of them were seen under the trees discussing thedevelopment in hush tones. Those who were manning the two of the gates leading to the
villa as well as the gate of the old Banquet Hall were however not affected as they were seen at their duty posts. Some of them wondered why whatever issue that could have arisen could not be resolved with the DSS authorities.
“If they feel that the DSS erred during the campaigns, some of us expect that they should also vent their anger on the management and not the entire DSS who served the President bewteen 1984 and 1985,” one of them said.
Another official said,
“Instead for the government to be promoting inter-agency rivalry in the country, they should have simply called the DG SSS to withdraw his operatives and not to set the military against the DSS. They should post us out instead of encouraging this unwarranted inter-agency rancour.”
The Presidency had in a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, on Wednesday said Buhari had not given any order for the expulsion of DSS officials from the Presidential Villa.
However, Adesina has admitted that a reorganisation of security at the seat of power was underway.

Customers and bank workers exchange blows over BVN registration

In the huge rush to beat the Bank Verification Number enrollment deadline which is June 30th, 2015 however, customers of an old generation bank engaged in a brawl with members of staff of the bank in the banking hall in Enugu State.
Customers were gripped by fear over the reports that their bank accounts will be frozen if they don't enroll before the deadline.
The insistence on the BVN by bank cashiers before attending to customers also increased such fear.
The development led to an unusually large turnout of customers at banking halls in the Coal City and this has been happening since the beginning of the week.
However, the matter took a different turn at an old generation bank, located in the Independence Layout area of Enugu on Thursday.
Trouble started when security personnel and operations staff of the financial institution asked some customers to go outside the banking hall to wait their turn. About 100 customers, who had been at the bank since 6am, had trooped into the banking hall when the doors were opened by 8am.
In a bid to maintain order, the bank officials asked the first 10 among the customers to fill the BVN forms and join about 30 others who did not complete the registration the previous day.
The other customers were told to leave the banking hall, and wait outside.
But the directive did not go down well with the customers, who protested, causing commotion in the banking hall.
The situation degenerated into a full blown fight when some customers violently resisted an attempt by the bank officials to lead them out of the banking hall. In the ensuing fracas, a young man engaged an armed riot policeman, who was attached to the bank, in a fight, while another customer exchanged blows with a bank worker.
The situation further escalated as some customers, who wanted to capitalise on the confusion to move to the front of the queue, were physically resisted by those who were already there.
Normalcy eventually returned after other bank security personnel, who were outside, stormed the banking hall to overpower the violent customers.
The branch manager of the bank later announced that the bank would open on Saturday to continue the enrollment. The branch manager, who did not disclose her name, complained that the customers had waited until the last minute before coming to enroll for the BVN.

Mom's photo of 'perfect' post-baby body goes viral

What's sexier than a six-pack? Rocking a "flabby belly" and stretch marks, says mother of four and musician Kimberly Henderson. After fans told her she had a "perfect" body, Henderson bravely uploaded an "unedited" selfie of her bare belly to Facebook page for all to see.
She posted this on her page:
Everyone always compliments me on how I have such a "perfect" body after 4 kids. I decided to upload this pic and leave my belly "unedited" "unphotoshopped"
because I used to struggle with accepting my body after kids. I used to have a six pack before my babies..
And now even though I work out I know its not going to make my loose skin tight.. Or my stretch marks disappear ever lol and I'm ok with... that because
everyday I get to wake up to 4 beautiful smiling faces and I'm reminded that they are worth this flabby belly and they are worth these stretch marks. I still wear a
bikini because being a mother makes me feel beautiful.. Not having a flat tummy. It took a long time to get there.. Because I struggled so much with my
body. I struggled so much because I was young and all these girls my age had perfect bodies and I was in my one piece bathing suit trying to hide all my flaws. And I'm not trying to say I have it worse than anyone else or bad or anything like that just reminding you guys..That your body is beautiful... BECAUSE we ARE moms and we ARE superheroes and we freakin ROCK and in my opinion that is sexier than any 6 pack!
"I wanted to show other women that I am just like them stretch marks, loose skin" but "I still wear a bikini because being a mother makes me feel beautiful."

Man kills mother of his son in Lagos, turns himself in

Michael David, a 31-year-old from Delta state reportedly murdered his wife then and reported himself to the police afterhe confessed to the killing, stating that his actions was the handiwork of the devil.
The suspect was involved in a fight with the victim, Oyinyechi Dennis, when he allegedly stabbed her to death at Ojoku area of Lagos.
It was learned that Michael, a carpenter, was spreading untrue rumours about his wife which led to a confrontation between two.
He narrated what happened on the said day.
“Oyinye is the mother of my son, although I did not marry her legally but when she became pregnant for me, I went to her aunty and uncle who she was living with for introduction. ’We then started living together. But we had a misunderstanding and then she packed out of my house.
“On Tuesday morning, Onyinye came to my house, I thought she just came to visit me but I later saw her mood and knew something was wrong. She confronted
me with an issue she heard. She said I was spreading rumour about her living a wayward life style and not sleeping at home.
‘’She asked me if I was behind the rumour and I told her yes, that I had noticed it since she left my place.
‘’Out of anger, she picked up a bottle, broke it and threatened to deal with me and we began to fight.
While we were fighting, I overpowered her and took the broken bottle from her. She rushed again to where the knife was and picked the knife.
‘’Out of anger, I collected the knife from her and mistakenly stabbed her in the stomach with the knife, shortly after she died.
“After my action, I sat for sometime thinking of what to do, whether to run away or go to the police station to report myself. I then decided to report myself at Tolu
Divisional Police Station. A sister to the deceased who gave her name as Chika,
claimed that the issue that led to her sister’s death started since the victim moved back to the family house.
She explained:
“When Onyinye moved her things back to the house. I asked her what was wrong, and she said nothing, that she does not want to continue leaving with Michael.
“Even a week before this incident, when Michael came to visit his son in the family house, immediately he entered, Onyinye walked out of the house. But I was
surprised when he called me on Tuesday to inform me that Onyinye is dead and that he was at the police station.
‘’I immediately rushed down to the police station to find out if it was true and that was where I heard the whole story.
“What was even more surprising is the fact that on that same day, after the incident, he called one of our neighbours to tell my other sister to bring his son
which she did but after sometime, he returned the boy.
‘’Maybe he was thinking of running away with his son but God did not give him the courage to do so. All I just desire now is for the police to complete investigation into the matter and let the law deal with him accordingly.”

VP Osinbajo did not Lock down Calabar - Media aide

...press statement from the VP's office in response to this.
Read below
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo was in Calabar and Lagos today -Thursday June 25 paying tribute to two eminent Nigerians whose lives reflect the very virtues
of integrity, trustworthiness and social justice, which can lift our dear nation. The one is Late Justice P.O.EnBassey and Dr. Christopher Kolade.
He arrived Calabar at about 10:30am attending the Justice P.O.E Bassey Memorial Lecture, at the University of Calabar, and left the town about 3:30pm,
heading for Lagos where he spoke at the Convention for Integrity 3rd Annual Lecture.
Prof Osinbajo was well received in Calabar witnessed by the warmth shown him and his delegation by the people and government of Cross River State. Claims that the town was in a lock down because of his visit is just another mischievous and baseless report from some of the same social media quarters that misled the nation in the past about his purported exclusion from security meetings.
The Vice President did not even spend ten hours in Calabar and could not have locked down the town, as his convoy moved freely among the people in regular traffic as he normally does.
I personally observed several people go about their normal activities and businesses without any hinderance. He has since returned to Abuja after his trip to both cities.
Signed
Laolu Akande

CEO of Jay Z's Tidal quits after just 2 months

More hard times for Tidal, as its latest CEO, Peter Tonstad, has left the company just after 2 months on the job.
The high-definition music streaming site was purchased for $56 million back in March by hip-hop business mogul Jay Z and it became a private company. It has had its ups and downs but it's still going on strong, well except for the CEO leaving the company.
Peter Tonstad, was a former CEO of Tidal's parent company Aspiro Group, as interim chief executive before he became the CEO of Tidal on April 17th 2015. He didn't tell the public why he resigned, he just did.
Tidal released this statement:
“We can confirm interim CEO Peter Tonstad is no longer with the company. We are thankful to Peter for stepping in as interim CEO and wish him the best for
the future. Tidal will be transitioning to a permanent CEO as part of our strategic plan to create a leading platform, and current executives in New York and Oslo
will continue to lead our rapidly developing innovation and content initiatives until our new CEO is in place.”
It remains to be seen whether a replacement is waiting in the wings with an even better understanding of the industry, but the news caps a tumultuous period for Tidal, after its starry relaunch press conference was widely seen as a misfire.

Gmail adds an official 'Undo Send' tool to stop embarrassing emails getting to the wrong people

For those of us who want to send a mail and you send it to the wrong person, or you want to make a bad decision and then change your mind or just generally send mails to the wrong person and or change your mind about sending a mail,
there's a solution, thanks to Google.
If you've ever hit send on an email only to realise you've sent it to the wrong person, you'll know the feeling of dread that hits the pit of your stomach.
But thankfully, for Gmail users at least, there is now a solution to spare any future blushes.
Google has made its 'Undo Send' tool an official and permanent feature nearly six years since it launched as an experiment in Gmail Labs.
This is currently available for five, 10, 20 or 30 seconds and effectively delays the message being sent for up to half a minute to give users time to change their mind. And once they have saved the changes, the tool will be enabled for all future messages until it is switched off. Google added the feature to Gmail Labs - a scheme the firm describes as 'some crazy experimental stuff' - in March 2009.
It was then added to Google's standalone Inbox app, which launched as an invitation only app in October and was rolled out to all Android and iOS users last month. To use the feature on the desktop, compose an email in the traditional way and hit send.
A pop-up message will appear at the top of the inbox that says: 'Your message has been sent. Undo.' Clicking Undo stops the message being sent and reopens it in a compose window so users can delete it, change the recipient or amend what has been written.
This works in a similar way on the Inbox app, but instead of appearing at the top of the screen, the Undo option appears in the bottom right-hand corner.
The announcement was made in a official blog post:
'Previously a popular feature in Gmail Labs, and recently added to Inbox by Gmail, today we’re adding 'Undo Send' as a formal setting in Gmail on the web.
'Undo Send' allows people using Gmail to cancel a sent mail if they have second thoughts immediately after sending.' It continued that the feature is turned off by default for those not currently using the Labs version.

New condom changes color when exposed to STDs

A new 'smart condom' was created by a group of teenage students for the Teen Tech awards, which they claim will glow different colors if it detects an STD!
The creators said the condom will work with a layer of chemicals on the surface that will attach to bacteria and viruses from STDs.
Here are the colors that the condom will change if STDs are detected:
“glow green for chlamydia, yellow for herpes, purple in the presence of the human papillomavirus which causes genital warts, and blue for syphilis.”
Not only will the “smart condoms” make you aware if your partner might have an STD, one of the designers explained:
“We wanted to create something that makes detecting harmful STIs safer than ever before, so that people can take immediate action in the privacy of their own homes without the invasive

Man drowns friend for refusing to join his cult group in Lagos

The police in Lagos state is looking for a suspected cultist named Anu Olokodana (pictured right), for allegedly drowning his childhood friend, 20 year old Adeleke Awosiga (pictured left) for refusing to join his cult group based in Isheri, Ojodu berger in Lagos state.
According to a report by Punch , the incident happened on June 13th during a birthday party for Anu. An argument ensued between the two friends and Anu reportedly twisted Leke's neck and threw him into a swimming pool inside a hotel in Isheri where he was having his party.
A relative of the deceased who spoke on condition of anonymity said
"The suspect, Olokodana, is popularly called T-Fire. He is a cult member and he was at the party with other member of his cult group. Adeleke was also there to
celebrate his friend’s birthday. As the party went on, a disagreement ensued between the two. Both men have been childhood friends, but their point of disagreements had always been over the cultnmembership. The suspect had always persuaded his friend to join his cult group, but the latter was not
interested. On that Saturday, Olokodana invited many of his friends, including the deceased, to a hotel in the Isheri area to celebrate his birthday. The young men
drank and had fun till dawn. The trouble started at about 4.30am. The next thing we heard was that Leke (Awosiga) had been drowned by Olokodana, and all his
cult members had fled. We are still in shock over the matter.”he said
Also speaking, a resident in the area identified as Alake said
"Olokodana’s girlfriend, identified only as Rashidat, at about 4am, started dancing with another cult member. Adeleke also requested to dance with her, but she declined and asked, ‘Are you one of us?’ The deceased felt insulted, and replied that he was older than her. Other cult members got angry and pushed Adeleke out of the party hall. Olokodana also warned his friend not
to go back to the hall. So, Awosiga stayed at the hotel’s swimming pool and started threatening the cult members. Olokodana went to the swimming pool area, twisted his friend’s neck and pushed him into the pool. That was how he drowned.”he said
The case was reported at the Isheri Police station and the family members along with the police were able to recover Adeleke's corpse which has since been deposited at the Yaba morgue.
Spokesperson of the Lagos state police command, Kenneth Nwosu confirmed the incident and said further investigations are ongoing.

52-year-old teacher rapes 5 year old pupil in classroom

The Lagos State Police Command has arraigned a 52-year-old school teacher, Isaac Ikiabeke, for allegedly raping a 5-year-old pupil in the Ikorodu area.
Ikiabeke, who is the proprietor of the school, Brighter Glory School, located on Etunrere Street, raped his victim after school hours.
The victim, five-year-old Pat (not her real name), said Ikiabeke had allegedly raped her 10 times.
She said,
“He has been doing it for some time. He has done it more than 10 times. I am not the only one. He does it with some of us after school hours. I could not tell
anybody because he said if I did he would beat me.”
The victim’s grandfather explained that his attention was drawn to the sexual assault by some of Pat’s classmates. He said he was shocked, as well as disappointed in Ikiabeke, whom he regarded as a respectable man.
He said,
“Pat and her younger sister stay with me and they attend the school. I never suspected anything initially, except that I observed she would be holding her belly
and turning on the bed and when I asked her what happened, she would say she was having stomachache.
“It was one of her classmates that told me what the school owner had been doing to her and I quickly went to report at the station, after which he was arrested.”
The matter has since been brought to the attention of the Lagos State Office of the Public Defender. A police source said that they got complaints from two victims.
He said a three-year-old pupil, who was equally raped by the suspect, was in a critical condition in a hospital.
He said,
“There were actually two pupils that we were told he raped. The atrocity had been going on for a long time before he was arrested.”
Pat has since been taken to the hospital for treatment.
The police on Monday arraigned Ikiabeke before a Yaba Chief Magistrates’ Court on one count of unlawful sexual intercourse.
The charge read,
“That you, Isaac Ikiabeke, on June 9, 2015, at about 3pm, at Brighter Glory School, Etunrere Street, Ikorodu, Lagos, in the Lagos Magisterial District, did have
unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor, (name withheld) aged five years and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 258 (1) of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, Nigeria, 2011.” The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge and elected summary trial.
The case was adjourned till August 10, 2015.

Magistrate remand 2 homosexual suspects for having sex with 2 minors

2 homosexual suspects were yesterday remanded in Onitsha prison by the Chief Magistrate in Onitsha, presided over by Nkemdilim Ike, in order to consider applications by the parties to the case.
Ebuka Anyasi, 23, and Michael Ikegbunam, 19, were detained in Onitsha Prisons on June 15 for allegedly committing felony by having carnal knowledge of two minors, Ifechukwu Okafor, 14, and Tagbo Chukwuma.
The act lasted for 7 days, while both victims were locked in confinement in Okoloji Street, Odoakpu in Onitsha, Anambra State.
The 2 accused pleaded not guilty to the three-count charge against them, but the Prosecutor, Clem Nwancho, an Assistant Superintendent of Police, ASP, opposed their bail and submitted a three-page motion application as well as an affidavit opposing the plea for bail for the two accused.
Mr Godwin Madubuko also opposed their plea for bail on the ground that they would jump bail, and insisted that they should be remanded in prison custody to serve as a deterrence to others, pending the determination of the case.
John Chukwuma, the lead defence counsel, yesterday submitted a nine-paragraph motion and an affidavit praying the court to grant the two accused bail since the offence was bailable.
In her ruling, the Magistrate, adjourned the matter to July 1 to enable her study the various written applications of the parties in the matter and decide whether to grant the two accused bail or not.
However, some lawyers in Onitsha have expressed fears over a grand plan to suppress the matter by some unknown big wigs in the state who were working round the clock to ensure the case was frustrated because of their involvement in the act.

The corpse of a 28-year-old graduate, known as Kehinde, who lived with his father on Omosebi Olugbo Street was found in an abandoned well in their house shortly after he had been declared missing.
It was gathered that Kehinde had a strange mental illness for about five years and was always indoors. He was said to have recovered recently from the illness before he was found dead in the well.
Someone close to the family said:
“Kehinde and his twin brother are well educated and they graduated from the university together. Their mother died a few years back, but their father stays in
the house. “He had been sick for the past five years and because of that, he was always kept indoors.
“His illness was strange because it was off and on. On a particular day, he absent-mindedly walked away from the house before somebody who knew him brought him back home.
“They used to chain his legs and hands to keep him indoors. A few times that he stepped out, he was in chains.”
It was learnt that Kehinde suddenly went missing from the house and the family began looking for him on Wednesday. He was found in the well on Friday.
A resident said,
“We were preparing for sahur to begin our fasting that morning when we saw an ambulance enter their house. We immediately sensed something was amiss.
“It was after the corpse had been taken away that the family told the landlords and some family friends that they found his body in the abandoned well.
“The well was always locked. The residents in the house depend on the community borehole for water. How Kehinde entered the well is a mystery.”
Family and friends trooped into his parents home to show their support for the family. Kehinde has since been buried.

Governor Ambode declares second Lekki- Epe Expressway toll-free

Lagos state governor Akinwunmi Ambode says residents of the state who live in the Lekki axis will no longer pay tolls at the second toll point on the Lekki- Epe Expressway. The governor made this remark at an interactive session with journalists at the Banquet Hall of the Lagos House, Ikeja yesterday.
The governor, in the statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Habib Aruna, said his concern was ensuring the completion of the road.
He said,
“We must start thinking of the future concerning that road. We said we will have an International Airport in Epe, and an Export Processing Zone in Lekki and a
Deep Seaport also in Lekki. Should we not start thinking about how we will improve and create a 10-lane road between Ikorodu, Itoikin, Epe and Ijebu Ode
so that people can go out from there? There is no point constructing the road, paying tolls and in five years’ time, the road is gone.”
The governor said once the Lagos-Badagry Expressway, which was being expanded into 10-lane, was completed, the community would be opened up for business activities. He added that his administration would make careful efforts to grow the tourism potential of the state.

Fresh crisis in APC over Senate positions

There seems to be new crisis within the ruling party, All Progressives Congress APC in regards to sharing principal offices in the Senate.
The principal offices are the Senate Leader; the Deputy Senate Leader; the Chief Whip and the Deputy Chief Whip.
The President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, is believed to have recommended to the APC National Working Committee that the positions be allocated to the zone, however, some leaders of the party, mainly those from the South-West, want them filled by the party’s hierarchy.
On Thursday,a senator in Abuja said that the APC NWC meeting failed to agree on the modalities for brokering peace among aggrieved party members.
The senator warned that if the issue was not quickly resolved, the Senate and the APC might “face another round of crisis bigger than that that resulted from Saraki’s emergence as Senate president.”

Dad goes to daycare to pick up daughter catches worker doing the unthinkable

When an unnamed Washington state father arrived at his daughter’s daycare to take her home, what he found was probably the worse possible situation a parent can stumble upon.
At first, he didn’t know where his 5-year-old daughter was, but he quickly discovered her in the classroom crouching behind a bookshelf in fear as her 31-year-old teacher was allegedly raping her.
According to the teacher, the Kid’s Country childcare center teacher was simply playing an innocent game of “tickle fight,” but according to the young girl, described as articulate and smart, that was far from the truth.
Wisely, the father took his daughter away and, on the ride home, contacted Child Protective Services.
The young girl described to both her father and CPS officials exactly what the teacher had done to her and even told them that he had “raped” her. Her above-average intelligence reportedly allowed her to provide details about the alleged
sexual assault that led to the quick arrest of the perverted teacher.
Describing the incident, the girl explained that the teacher wasn’t tickling her at all, rather, his hand had touched her in inappropriate places on her body. The teacher, apparently caught in the act, tried to excuse those inappropriate touches
as an “accidental slip of the hand.”
The unidentified man is awaiting his day in court at the King County jail, where he’ll hopefully be punished to the fullest extent that the law allows.

Buhari to move into Aso Villa, announce some appointments next week

President Muhammadu Buhari is set to move into the Presidential Villa next week to continue his governance and may also name the first set of top government officials to start off the administration, a competent Presidency source
confirmed.
Since being declared winner of the 2015 Presidential election, Buhari has been operating from the Defence House in Maitama and has been conducting official business of government from there, having taken over the mantle of leadership on May 29, 2015 from former President Goodluck Jonathan.
It was leant that the President was ready to move from Defence House to the Villa possibly early next week following completion of renovation of the President’s residence.
“It is true that the construction company has completed the President’s wing and he is set to move in any moment from now. As at today, it is only the
Vice President’s residence that is yet to be fully completed.
“We expect that the two men will move into the villa by next week since the work in the Vice President’s apartment is not a serious one,” an official in the
Presidency explained.
The source explained that Buhari was set to begin naming some key officials of his government as soon as he moves into the Villa to prepare the grounds for the take off of serious work for Nigerians who have been expecting action from the
administration.
As a prelude to setting up his administration, Buhari has reportedly handed over the 800-page Transition Committee Report to a trusted team of his associates, headed by former Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola; former Ekiti
governor, Kayode Fayemi and others to reduce into a sizable and workable document.
Fashola is being tipped to emerge as Chief of Staff to the President because of his pedigree as a former Chief of Staff, governor and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria.
An impeccable source said that it was Buhari who instructed that after all others had completed working on transition report, they should hand over the voluminous document to Fashola to reduce into an implementable format for him to read and take necessary actions.

Usher Raymond and Justin Bieber sued for ripping off another artist

Justin Bieber and Usher are being sued for their song, "Somebody to Love," because some powerful judges just ruled that they may have ripped off another artist.
According to TMZ
The Bieber/Usher collaboration is "Somebody to Love," recorded in 2010. A guy named Devin Copeland, known as De Rico, and his songwriting partner Mareio Overton claim the famous pair ripped off their 2008 song by the
same name.
Problem for Copeland and Overton ... a federal judge ruled the songs weren't similar at all and booted them out of court in 2014.
But a federal appeals court just ruled, the first judge was way off base, concluding, the Bieber/Usher hook have an "almost identical rhythm and strikingly similar melody."
So the case now goes back for a full-blown trial where they're seeking $10 million in damages. Listen to the songs. If you were on the jury, would you nail the
Biebs?

Buhari reportedly orders the disposal of 9 Presidential aircrafts to cut cost

There are reports that President Buhari has directed that nine of the VIP transport aircraft under the presidential fleet should be sold as part of the federal government’s cost measures.
Industry sources said that the presidential fleet, which are registered as Nigerian Air Force aircraft, is one of the largest in Africa and the third largest in Nigeria after Arik Air and Aerocontractors.
According to a report by ThisDay, an aviation source, who is aware of the directive to sell the aircraft, said the presidency has a number of serviceable and unserviceable aircraft that need to be disposed of in order to reduce the amount spent by the federal government for aircraft maintenance annually.
“Nine, which still have market value, are to be sold immediately to reduce maintenance costs,” he said.
For years, the federal government has spent over N12 billion annually for the maintenance of the presidential fleet.
Although information on the exact size of the fleet is treated as classified information, the fleet, according to aviation sources, is believed to comprise about 16 aircraft, chief of which is the Boeing 738 BBJ, NAF 001 or Eagle One, used by the president for his travels. With its luxury configuration comprising a master bedroom, washrooms and showers, a conference and
dinning area, and a living area, the plane seats 25 to 50 passengers and would cost at least $100 million to replace today.
Eagle One can spend 12 hours in the air, covering 11,489 kilomtres or 6,200 nautical miles.
In addition to the Boeing 733 reserved for the president, the fleet boasts two Gulfstream 550 jets. The Gulfstream 550 can seat eight to 18 passengers,
depending on the configuration, and has a cruiser range of 12,501 kilometres or 6,750 nautical miles. A new luxury Gulfstream 550 would cost an estimated $53.5 million.
According to Wikipedia, other planes in the Nigerian Air Force VIP transport fleet include two Dassault Falcon 7X jets, one Hawker Siddeley 125-800 and one Cessna 550 Citation II.
Information from a Nigerian web portal and Nigerian Air Force sources further revealed that the fleet also boasts two Dassault Falcon 900 jets, a Gulfstream
IVSP, a Gulfstream V, a Dornier Do 228, which can carry 19 passengers, one Beechcraft King Air B200, and three AugustaWestland AW139 helicopters.
Sources said each of the two Dassault Falcon 7X jets were purchased for $51.1 million in 2010 while the Gulfstream 550 cost $53.3 million.
Aviation experts also put the average price of the Falcon 900 at $35 million; Gulfstream IVSP at $40 million; Gulfstream V at $45 million; Cessna Citation at
$7 million; and the Hawker Siddeley at $15 million.
It was also discovered that though all the aircraft are under the presidential fleet, about eight of the planes are reserved strictly for the president.
These are the Boeing 737, the two Gulfstream 550 jets, the Gulfstream V jet, two Falcon 7X planes, the Hawker Siddeley aircraft and one AugustaWestland chopper. Others are reserved for executive airlift. Aircraft used for this function include the two Falcon 900 planes, the Dornier, the Cessna Citation, the Beechracft King Air, and two AugustaWestland choppers.
Aircraft reserved for executive airlift are used by the Vice-President, Senate President, Speaker of the House. of Representatives, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and could be used to convey African heads of states visiting or departing Nigeria.

Charly Boy talks about life, regrets and more as he turns 64 today

Let me first start by saying a very happy birthday to Mr Charles Oputa, aka Charly Boy, one of those rare human beings we see once in a life time. He's a year older today.
Wishing him many more beautiful years ahead. In a new interview with journalists, he opened about on his age, family and not living according to norms of society. He said;
“I’m not particular about how old or young the number is. What I care about is the age of my mind and then the age of my body. From my look, my energy and all, I feel 35 or slightly younger. That is the age of my mind.
Going by my experiences, my responsibilities, my wisdom and all, I should be about 87 years old,”
“I dress the way I feel. My happy moments are when my usefulness is engaged, when I see the influence I bring into people’s lives, when I’m able to add value
and make a measurable contribution to individuals and society.
He also says he never sees cherished ones off to the airport..
“I hate to say goodbye. I find it hard to do so. That’s why you may not find me seeing cherished people to the airport unless we are travelling together. Same for
my relationships. I love forever.”
On his children,he said
“Unlike some parents who can’t truly love more than a child at a time, I love all my children in different ways and I see a bit of me in all of them, up to my siblings, grandchildren and all. Family is really what I have been
blessed with, and my happiest moments have been family times,”
On regrets in life..
“Regrets don’t exist in my dictionary. I live life on the edge and to change it would mean doing things in traditional or conventional ways. To do that, for me, is
to give up the ghost. If it’s not daunting and scary, it certainly is not for me.”

Wike says he met an empty FAAC account upon assumption of duty

Read the Rivers state government press release below...
Contrary to claims by officials of the outgone administration that it left N7 billion in the state coffers, Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has
declared that no such money was domiciled in the state account. The governor stated that the state’s FAAC account was in debit as at May 29 when he took over the reins of governance in the state.
This is even as the Rivers State Government on Thursday signed a memorandum of understanding with two construction giants, Julius Berger and CCECC for
the rehabilitation of 33 kilometres of township roads in Port Harcourt, the state capital.
The Governor stated that from the brief he received from the State Accountant General after his inauguration, only one revenue account with Sterling Bank had some funds left by the immediate past administration.
"I want to say in good authority that we did not meet any N7 billion as being speculated. The state's FAAC account as at May 29 was in debit. That was the briefing I received from the Accountant-General", he said.
The memorandum of understanding with the two construction giants is in realisation of the Zero Potholes Programme launched by the administration on May 29.
While Julius Berger is to handle the rehabilitation of 11 kilometres of township roads alongside street lights and traffic lights, the CCECC will handle 20 kilometres of township roads in Port Harcourt.
He explained that the state government resolved to work with the construction giants to rebuild road infrastructure in the state capital because the revival of
facilities in the state capital is beyond political consideration.
Governor Wike noted that the funds for the Operation Zero Potholes have been set aside, hence the signing of the memorandum of understanding to ensure that the companies conclude work in 120 days.
He promised to personally monitor the execution of the projects by the construction giants.
Speaking further, Governor Wike explained that his administration resolved to take the N10b loan with specific focus on key projects to be implemented. He
noted that the request to the state Assembly was accompanied by all the projects to be executed.
Responding, Representative of Julius Berger Plc, Mr Marco Braun assured the Rivers State Government that the project will be completed as scheduled.
Also speaking, the Representative of CCECC, Mr Lee Kin Yong expressed happiness that the Chinese company will be involved in the revival of infrastructure in Rivers State.
The signing of the memorandum of understanding was supervised by the Rivers State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Chinwe Aguma.
