An ad-hoc committee of House of Representatives set up to investigate the N700 billion bail-out funds given to some state governments by the federal government yesterday called on Nigerians to demand for the resignation of the Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, and Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) governor, Godwin Emefiele, for mismanaging the country’s economy.

Chairman of the ad-hoc committee Rep Sadiq Ibrahim (APC, Adamawa) made the call following the failure of the minister of finance and the CBN governor to appear personally at the committee’s session.
The committee also called for the resignation of the Director General of the Debt Management Office (DMO), Abraham Nwankwo.
